About EaglesPath Healing Society
Our Story
EaglesPath Healing Society was created in response to a collective need for healing, healing rooted in land, culture, and community. The idea began with Shauna Livesey, a First Nations social worker who recognized the deep longing in her community for more than just services. People were looking for a place to belong, to reconnect, and to feel supported in their healing journeys.
EaglesPath is not the vision of one person, but the shared work of many. As the idea took shape, a group of committed individuals came together to guide it forward.
The founding Board of Directors, made up of Omarla Cooke, Chanelle Larocque, Matt Savard, Desiree Mearon, Shawn Bottle, and Loretta Moreau, reflects the heart of the community, each bringing their unique lived experience, knowledge, and dedication to wellness.
Together, with community members, EaglesPath offers land-based healing camps, counselling, and workshops throughout Alberta and British Columbia. Everything we do is guided by the belief that healing happens in circle, through relationships, shared stories, ceremony, and reciprocity.
EaglesPath Healing Society continues to grow through community, guided by humility, accountability, and the strength of those who walk the path with us.
Join Us on the Path
EaglesPath is more than a service, it’s a community. Whether you’re walking through grief, reconnecting with your culture, or seeking a safe space to heal, we are here with open hearts and outstretched wings.

Our Vision
A future where individuals, families, and communities thrive in wellness, culture, and connection, supported by healing spaces that honour both traditional and therapeutic ways of knowing.
Our Mission
EaglesPath Healing Society is a non-profit Indigenous-led organization committed to improving the mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being of individuals and families. We provide culturally grounded counselling, land-based healing programs, and educational opportunities rooted in both Indigenous and Western approaches.
Through community connection, ceremony, and accessible support services, we work to relieve the impacts of trauma, poverty, and disconnection, while promoting cultural revitalization, reconciliation, and collective healing.
